Live Scoring
Filmmusic Students from the Filmakademie are performing sounddesign and music live in realtime to a movie. Especially created electronic instruments deliver the sounds for the acoustic universe of the film. The combination of live concert and film screening provides a fresh experience for every show. As an element of interactivity interested members of the audience can play the instruments and get a chance to compose their own sounds to the movie.

Audiovisual Performance
with „unerhört“ and Tobias Gallè
The band „unerhört“ (www.unerhoert-sound.de) is creating sounds ranging from ambient electro jazz to trendy lounge music – an unheard mixture of spheric chillout and grooving beats. Bastus Trump (Saxophones, Flute, Laptop) and Christophe Kalkau (Keyboards, Synths) are blending elements of Jazz, Funk, Hip Hop or Drum´n Bass together with their unique musical approach wit pulsating pads, experimental sounds and Jazz improvisation. The acoustic beats and grooves come from Maximilian Müller who is studying, like Christophe Kalkau, filmmusic at the Filmakademie. But there´s not only the music to make this a night to remember – it´s the live visuals from motion designer Tobias Gallè (www.gleichlang.com), which are impressing with three-dimensional shapes, moving graphics and pictures.

Crossmedia Performance
Moments of Sound and Motion
concept and visuals: Alexander König - www.invitriol.de
camera and directing: Gudrun Weiler – www.weilerfilm.de
production and technical coordination: Christian Müller – www.eyecatchproductions.de
The audience experiences a symbiosis of state of the art multiple projections on diverse surfaces, animated and live visuals, music performances culminating in a powerful lighting firework. During the performance moving images come to life, leave their projection spaces to become one with the lighting and architectural design of the Akademiehof, merging with music. The fixed picture converges into modern music-driven realtime animation.
"Moments of Sound and Motion" focuses on the age-long liaison of film and music, sound and motion. This show integrates prominent historic developments such as the "Laterna Magica", in the 18th and 19th century widely known as "magic lantern", the period of silent movies, multimedia surround-sound and show effects of the 21st century.
"Moments of Sound and Motion" is internationally supported by musicians from the Pannon Philharmonic Orchestra, one of the leading Hungarian orchestras based in the cultural metropolis Pécs.
